For my first post in October, I thought it should be in honor of Halloween. San Diego offers many fun events and spooky attractions to make any Halloween lover happy. And luckily, this year it falls on the weekend, (October 31 is a Saturday). One of the beautfiul things about Halloween in San Diego is the fact that the fall weather has not truly set upon our miraculous city by Halloween. The weather is quite mild and perfect for whatever ghoulish acitivity you dare to take part in outside.
Here are some Halloween events to make your October a little more festive...

Here are some Halloween events to make your October a little more festive...
- Haunted Trails in Balboa Park
- Haunted Hotel I dared to experience this last year and let me tell you I was terrified!! I think out of the whole walk through my eyes were open a total of 2 minutes! You are led through a hotel with each room a different scary theme. Although the actors inside can not touch you, they do a pretty good job scaring the &#$^ out of you. Defintiely a Halloween must if you are looking for a bit of a scare!
- The Scream Zone at the Del Mar Fairgrounds
- Haunted Birch Aquarium (October 23-24 6-9 pm)
- The 9th Annual Dos Equis XX Monster Bash (October 31 6-12 am)
- Halloween Family Day in Balboa Park
- The Pumpkin Station at the Del Mar Fairgrounds
- The Whaley House Check out San Diego's most haunted house. I personally have gone here, and although I did not get to see any paranormal or freaky things, I did enjoy the tour. I am sure you may have better luck getting in touch with ghosts near Halloween though...
- Haunted San Diego Ghost Tours
- Seaworld Spooktacular
- Monster Manor
- BOO! Parade
- Scareadventures
- Zombie Walk (October 10)
